anvaya (& vyatirekaor sādharmya & vaidharmya) NB 3.28-31: sādharmyeṇāpi hi prayoge arthād vaidharmyagatir iti // asati tasmin sādhyena hetor anvayābhāvāt // tathā vaidharmyeṇāpy anvayagatiḥ // asati tasmin sādhyābhāve hetvāabhāvasyāsiddheḥ // NB 3.32-33: na hi svabhāvapratibandhe asaty ekasya nivṛttāv aparasya niyamena nivṛttiḥ // sa ca dviprakāraḥ sarvasya / tādātmyalakṣaṇas tadutpattilakṣaṇaś cety uktam // NB 3.34-35: tena hi nivṛttiṃ kathayatā pratibandho darśanīyaḥ. tasmāt nivṛttivacanam ākṣiptapratibandhopadarśanam eva bhavati / yac ca pratibandhopadarśanaṃ tad eva anvayavacanam ity ekenāpi vākyenānvayamukhena vyatirekamukhena vā prayuktena sapakṣāsapakṣayor liṅgasya sadasattvakhyāpanaṃ kṛtaṃ bhavatīti na avaśyaṃ vākyadvayaprayogaḥ // anupalabdhāv api yat sad upalabdhilakṣaṇaprāptaṃ tad upalabhyata eva ity ukte, anupalabhyamānaṃ tādṛśam asad iti pratīter anvayasiddheḥ // HTU 85: tathā hi / vādakāle vyāptipūrvaka eva prayogaḥ kartavyaḥ yat kṛtakaṃ tat sarvam anityam dṛṣṭaṃ yathā ghaṭādir iti / sādhyena sādhanasya dṛṣṭānte vyāptikathanam anvaya ucyate // |
